UK Garden or Black ants are not thought to be vectors of disease and are usually classed as harmless.
They do not bite.
Having ants present in your home or business can be a serious cause for concern as they contaminate your food, stock, preparation areas, and cupboards, etc. Ants in the family home can be bad enough, but ants in your business, i.e Caf or restaurant can be a major cause of concern for your customers and can have a prolonged negative effect on your business reputation.

Gull and Pigeon activity can cause problems for your business and affect your reputation.
Bird netting of Commercial buildings in Bristol is a necessity because of the large flocks of Gulls and Pigeons.
Birds of various types have long been an integral part of urban life, and although we like to see birds feeding in our gardens, slipping in pigeon mess on the pavement or dodging gulls flying overhead is a dangerous risk.

Cockroach pest control in Bristol has been rising over the last decade.
More and more homes and businesses are finding they have problems and are providing harbourage of these pests.
Few insects seem to cause as much concern as cockroaches and finding them in your home or business can be very distressing indeed.
The problem with these insects is until the levels are quite dramatic, they are primarily nocturnal and can often go completely unnoticed.
Usually, by the time you realise your property has a problem, you are usually facing quite a heavy infestation.

Bristol is a city of animal lovers.
Most homeowners share their lives with a furry pet of some kind, with cats and dogs being a wonderful addition to any home.
The same can not be said about the unfortunate pests that can infest our homes along with our animals.
Did you know that most animals carry fleas?
Cats, Dogs, Rabbits, Hedgehogs, Badgers, Foxes etc, all carry fleas.
It is no wonder, our homes become easily infested.
Fleas (Ctenocephalides) are one of the most common pests to have in your home.

At Advance Pest Control Bristol, we solve hundreds of Fly issues in business and domestic properties in Bristol every year.
We identify your pest fly and carry out a treatment appropriate to the specific pest species.
We have over 22 years experience in understanding the different common pest fly species including their life cycle, habits, environment and treatment.
Significant problems can be associated with flies in your home or business.

Most species of moth are no more than a little annoyance if they make their way into our homes or business.
There are however 3 species that can cause significant damage once inside.
These are the Common Clothes Moth, the Case Bearing Clothes Moth and the White-shouldered House Moth.
The larvae will eat through almost any natural fibre including wool, cotton, silk, linen, fur and feathers and to this effect they can infest almost any area of your home or business.
At Advance Pest Control Bristol, we recognise how distressing having moths in your home can be.

Bristol homes and businesses are continually facing rodent invasion, from new builds in Whapping Wharf to Victorian terraces in Bedminster.
Let's face it; there are many companies in Bristol that offer extermination.
Firms that will attend your property promising a 'quick fix', laying poison, yet being gone by the time your cheque clears in their account.
At Advance Pest Control Bristol Ltd, We try our best to offer permanent results not quick fixes.
We do our very best to not only clear your current infestation, but to try to locate the source of the problem and deal with that for you.

A Silverfish is a small, wingless insect that as the name implies, is a silvery grey in appearance.
It has a backend (abdomen) that tapers, giving it an almost fish-like appearance, this along with its fish-like wiggle gives the insect its name.
Silverfish eat mainly a starch diet, this can include glues from book bindings, starch residue on plastered walls, glued substances including the paste behind your wallpaper!
Silverfish thrive in moist, damp conditions and are often noted in loft spaces, basements, behind bath panels and in your water closet.

Over the last few years, the installation of solar panels on domestic and commercial roofs, has become increasingly popular.
Solar panels require very low maintenance, but manufactures have not accounted for the inventiveness of pest birds, such as pigeons.
Sitting proud of the roof, a gap is created that provides an excellent and appealing area of shelter for pigeons.
Pigeon mess (guano) is highly corrosive and build up of this mess and nesting materials can be very damaging to both interior and exterior parts of your solar panels, causing corrosion and structural damage.

We often take great delight when watching squirrels in the park or even in our gardens.
The same can not be said when we realise a squirrel has taken up residence in our loft space.
Just like rats, squirrels have incisor teeth that grow continually, hence needing a source to gnaw against on a daily basis.
Once inside they will continue to gnaw, this can be against any exposed wiring and has been known to be a distinct cause of house fires.
Squirrels have two breeding seasons each year, Feb/March and June/July, during these times they are more likely to try and find their way into your homes and your loft void.

If you have a problem wasp or hornets nest, Call us NOW and be assured we will visit you TODAY to tackle the problem.
Wasps are often no more than a distraction, but sometimes can be become serious nuisance if nesting in your garden, roof or shed.
We understand how distressing it is to be near wasps or their nest.
Phobia of wasps is very real and can cause immense anxiety in people.
Wasp stings can cause more than a mild reaction, and in some people, can lead to anaphalaxis which can be a life threatening situation.

I can't thank Matt enough!
He came on the same day as l called as l was beside myself due to a rat problem- he found.
We called Adam about a rat problem recently, he came out the next day and was very knowledgeable and professional.
He. did what he needed to do and has been back to inspect today.
The problem has gone, with him leaving extra bait in case they came back.
A genuinely lovely man who wants to help.
These guys are so professional.
I've used their services a couple of times.
No job too big or small.
